INNOVATION

MODULE DESCRIPTION

In the words of the late great Steve Jobs “The difference between a leader and a follower is innovation”. The leading companies in Revenue, Profits, CSR, employee welfare – Apple Amazon, TESLA, Netflix, UBER, Air BnB – are all innovative brands and they lead partly of solely based on innovation.

The reason we do not see a dominance of brands like Blackberry, Sagem, Trium, Alcatel, IBM is partly or largely due to a lack of effective innovation.

If the innovation is right and the market strategy is wrong, every other thing could go wrong. Think of the collapse of amazing innovations like the Sageway, the PCTV to name a few. This implies the need for strategic thinking and execution.
